This website was initially written in 2003 for the Class of 1993 reunion. It's purpose was to be a central location for the Reunion Organisers to work through to verify contact information.

Late 2005, the software was adapted to attempt to maintain contact with registered classmates, although, not very effective.

It wasn't until the start of 2007 that development commenced on the third release of the software. This version is more secure and has the main objectives of obtaining (finding) and retaining (maintaining contact) past students.

After a classmate's first login to St Stephen's Reunion, their contact details are verified by a Reunion Organiser. This is a very important step to ensure that the person claiming to be a classmate is in fact who they claim to be. Whilst in a pending approval stage, a classmate is limited to what they can do on the website.
